Shanghai Bund (picture from TravelChinaGuide.com)
My "buddy" colleague just returned from a week holiday in Shanghai yesterday, thanks godness, I won't be alone during my breaks anymore!!
As I watched the weather forecast on Channel 8's news, the temperature at Shanghai is between 0 & 8° C, thus I asked him if he enjoyed his trip and whether it was so cold. He told me that he didn't went much sight-seeing as the temperature there was as low -4° C as his friend could not endure the coldness, it also caused him to have constipation, he unable to clear his bowels as the toilet bowl was really too icy cold to be sit on for bombing sessions. Haha!
It really seem that China is a hot holiday spot as 4 of my colleagues went to Shanghai for holiday these 2 months!! Maybe I should go there in the near future as the scenery should be great as seen from the above photograph and from the music video of S.H.E's 我愛你.
By the way, Kenny Sia also went to Shanghai and he discover the Everiday Shanghai Engrish, which made me believe that their standard of English is really that impressive, because I got a recent e-mail with attachements of the English menu of a 3-star hotel in China, maybe from Shanghai too?
Seeing is believing

If it's not for the Chinese mainlanders' appalling standard of English, we wouldn't be having so much good laugh :D
well, that's very true... but surely it's worse than F9.
Hi Leonard, i think it you might want to name your blog "The Chronicles of Leonard" instead of "The Chronicle of Leonard". Not that chronicle is wrong. Only that chronicle is usually written with an "s" behind, that's all :)
