It's been a long time since I last blogged! How time flies, really nothing interesting happened to me or maybe I had been too lazy to blog. In fact, something had taken up my time which resulted me to neglect my blog nor plurk.
I didn't MIA because I
tio TOTO hor!
I hope this would not cause me to lose all my faithful readers, by the way I don't think I have much to be counted for?
Well, to blow some dust away off this blog, let me share with you some of the "interesting" incidents... hope you won't yawn and close this browser window.
Ice-skating
I went ice-skating in Kallang Ice World, this is only my second time ice-skating and again in a donkey years. For one thing I knew, the loan skating boots stink!! I could hardly skate, the first few rounds were scary, constantly holding onto the railings by the sides. Even small kids can skate better than me.
I managed to keep my balance, and took the courage to get away from the railings and skate for a few rounds, I managed to get to the railings when I was about to lose my balance. In the end, I do have three hard falls, after the first two hard falls, I was in total shock because it was a consecutive two falls, I fall on my butt with my hands supporting my whole weight and "did a break dance move" to rebound myself before lost balance and fall again.
After almost one hour of skating, I gave up. I ended up with pulled muscles in my leg and blisters. :(
Cat jumped onto my leg
It was a windy night as I was chatting on the mobile phone under the HDB void deck, this cat just walked past me, jumped onto the bench I was sitting and jumped onto my legs. Throughout the one hour of chit chatting, the cat was happily keeping itself warm on my legs. Even when I was going to leave, it refuse to get down and kept sitting on my legs. I allowed it to sit for a good 30 minutes before I decided to chase it away...haha
Encounter with a huge grasshopper
When I returned home one night, I spotted a giant grasshopper on my gate. It was so huge that I decided to take a few photographs of it. It was so steady as it stood there to pose for me. When I was opening the door, I did not want to use too much strength as I'm afraid that I would disturb it and it jumped onto my face. Nevertheless, I managed to get into my flat safe and sound without it making any movements. The next morning, the grasshopper was gone.
For the next few days I managed to see it on other floor's wall, I started to wonder how it managed to get here in the first place.
Two days ago, when I was getting out of my flat, the corner of my eye caught something on the floor, it's the grasshopper again, this time round, overturned, must be that it fall when I opened the gate, I helped it to overturn back as it stay stationary there again. My mum was worried that it would jump into the house, I told her, shut the door and it had no chance of jumping into the flat lor! ;P
Okay, end of stories...I hope it's not so boring after-all... hahahaaha
